Yookos, a global social network with over 13 million users owned by Christ Embassy Church (Love world) officially invites developers as they announced the release of their Application Programming Interface (API) during the company’s presentation made at the Mobile Web Africa 2013 conference. The workshop is to be held in Lagos on Tuesday, 14 May 2013. 9:00am GMT +1 for empowerment of developers which makes it a must attend to all developers.

This new release of the APIs will aid developer, including techprenuers, to make applications for the social media channels that can be accessed on desktop and mobiles.

“We are particularly very pleased that as a company we have reached yet another momentous milestone in the development of our platform. What makes this move very remarkable is that it facilitates the people sourcing of innovative ideas and solutions that will not only increase the nature of the platform but also make its usage an exhilarating experience”, said the Yookos CEO, Mr Tomisin Fashina.

Yookos is also using this opportunity to launch their new released APIs to the global developer community, giving developers the opportunity to network with their friends.

“We’ve created a very rich and highly interactive API management Eco-system to ensure that developers get best out of our API”, he added. “ Our aim is not just about getting something from developers but we also plan to empower them through our multifaceted approach that will see the launch of programmes focused on university students, community engagement sessions aimed at attracting young people to the profession, as well as educational peer engagement sessions just to mention a few,”  said Mr Fashina.
