The names 2face Idibia and D'banj (Aka-Koko master) are house hold names in the African music industry well known for their record breaking hits. Thus, it's no surprise that they are finding new grounds and gaining recognition in the international arena.

2baba as he is popularly called and Dbanj are already doing it big in the USA, with the recent featuring of international artist like Wyclef and Snoop dogg on their tracks.

Those not nominated are complaining and So far, Keyshia Cole and Trina are the only ones who’ve come out to show their displeasure with the nominations. Nigeria’s music superstars 2face Idibia and D’Banj have also been nominated in the ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category, alongside Congolese singer Fally Ipupa, South African rap duo Teargas, D-Black from Ghana and the legendary singer Angelique Kidjo.
Last year, M.I and P Square made history as they were the first Nigerian acts to be included in the nominations list.
