So you finally got your Blog / website up and running, adding content as the days go by and sharing it on social networks.
You want more traffic, more page views, more comments, higher search ranking - what better way to do it than to let your site visitors help you spread the word by "LIKING" your pages.

The Facebook like button which was first exclusive to Facebook.com pages now allow blogs / websites readers to LIKE and automatically share content to they Like on Facebook wall.

How to add Facebook Like Button to your Blog / website:
If you use content management systems like Joomla, WordPress, Blogger, Simple Machines Forum (SMF) - then adding a Facebook like button requires a Plugin (Modification) to be installed.

To Get Facebook social plugins for WordPress visit http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ and search "Facebook"
To Get Facebook Social Mods for Simple machines forum visit http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/ and select "Socialization" from the list
To add Facebook social Plugins on Joomla Visit http://extensions.joomla.org

You can also Manually add the Facebook Like to parts of your pages by:

visit The Facebook Developers Page
Enter the Site You want users to Like and Click "Get Code" (you can choose to show or hide faces)
Copy Generated HTML5, XFBML or IFRAME Code and past in the section of your website theme you want the Like button to appear.

NOTE: The url to Like can be set to your web page or Your website Facebook Fan Page(as shown above). Linking your Facebook Page to the like button is recommended because gets you More subscribers on Facebook.
