The M-Net Africa  - Bigbrother Africa is no doubt the most anticipated event each year in Africa. Thousands gather at audition centers to see if they'll have the chance to enter the Bigbrother Africa House and eventually win the Price money.

Every year The show adds a New twist to spice up the game. Last year the Price money of $200,000 was doubled and won by 2 housemates (Karen, and Wendall) - The Big Brother Season seven which is scheduled to take off in March also has some twists to it.

M-Net Africa Managing Director Biola Alabi says, “We are thrilled to be offering a huge, new, USD 300 000 prize and to include two new countries who were chosen to participate based on their ongoing interest in the series and their growing DStv audiences. And while Ethiopia won’t have a housemate this year, we’ll look to include them and other non-housemate countries in other ways if the opportunity arises, as we do every season. We are and have always been proudly committed to making this a truly African show. And as for Mozambique, they will be included with a housemate – but that’s all we are saying at the moment. Of course, the really big news this season is that entrants for Bigbrother Season 7 must enter as pairs.

In the past we’ve seen a natural and continuous cross-over between individuals and their families, their friends. So this year, we decided to include that as part of the game. It will definitely make a dramatic addition to the series so we urge people to enter and experience what will be a uniquely different Big Brother Africa”.

The Participating countries for Bigbrother Season 7 are: Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

How to Apply For BigBrother Season 7 2012
From  the 5th of February all interested applicants have 3 options:

• Pick up entry forms from the nearest MultiChoice office in your country anytime. Fill and Submit.

• Download an entry form from the website, complete and email it back to bba@endemol.co.za.

All online entry forms will also be available from February 5th. entries close on February 27, 2012

As you know by now the bigbrother Africa season 7 Online Registration is Over.. BUT - You still have a chance to enter with your partner at the open auditions holding in various countries.. Organizers say the open auditions are mainly for those who did not submit forms and this has nothing to do with rumors that very few submitted application forms - But rather is to give more opportunity to those who failed to submit registration forms on time.

Low turn out of registrations is not the issue, this has just come up because they want to give a chance to more people to enter especially those who have failed to meet the deadline,”

• Liberia - Monrovia at The Cape Hotel: 13, 14 and 15 March 2012
• Malawi - Blantyre at the Protea Hotel Ryalls: 17, 18 and 19 March 2012
• Namibia - Windhoek at the Hilton Hotel: 9, 10 and 11 March 2012
