Friendship is the act of overlooking the failures of others. A friend is one who puts his finger on a fault without rubbing it in.
Success in life depends upon the support and help of other people; no one makes it alone; therefore work hard at building successful relationships.

Without friendship one is doomed to loneliness. Value your friendship; tell your friends you appreciate them, a friend is an island of safety where you feel secure.

A successful relationship is based on mutual respect; recognize your own self worth and the self worth of others, also constantly polish up your relationship else it will get dusty and dirty, use the phone, a letter or a visit, a card or a gift.

One of the great problems we face today in modern society is the scarcity of good friends. It takes a lot of forgiving to be a friend. George Elliot said” friendship is the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words”
To gain a friend, become interested in other people instead of trying to get them interested in you”

We all need someone we can be open with they will know our secrets - our hiding place - our soft spot - our hopes and dreams. This is what real friendship is all about.

The only way to have a friend is to be one, choose your friends for what they are and not what they have or have to be.
A real friend is one who will talk to you on the phone even though they know they are missing their favorite television programme.

When we lose a friend we die a little. An old Russian proverb says “an old friend is better than two new ones” if you really want to know who your friends are just make a mistake. When problems come knocking at your door you don’t have to answer it alone when you are blessed with true friends. The person that ceases to be your friend was never your friend.

   Develop appreciation and enjoyment
