Several deaths have plagued the Nigerian Movie Industry (Nollywood) the most recent was the Tragic death of Enebeli Enebuwa.

Rumors are now being circulated that Legendary actor - Pete Edochie - Is Dead?

We would like to inform you that Pete Edochie is NOT DEAD, The actor was in his Hometown Enjoying the Holidays with Friends and Family. - Please disregard all rumors being spread by people who want cheap publicity and intend to create unnecessary tension in the society. 



The former president of Actor Guilds of Nigeria - Segun Arinze - issued this statement;

Please, all those spreading rubbish rumor that Pete Edochie died should stop that now! The man is alive in his house in Enugu enjoying his peace and holidays. His actor son Yul just confirmed this to me now.

Chief Pete Edochie is best known for his role in the sequel, Things Fall Apart. He has since been featured in many Nollywood Movies (as the Bad guy).

There you have it - We can all move on now.
