NOTE: THIS HAS STOPPED WORKING!!!

It was impossible for Blackberry Subscribers to use the same sim / data plan on Other devices like USB Modems. USB data bundle plans are the most expensive, so users ask - Why can't i Use my Blackberry SIM on PC too? Why can't i share my Internet from Blackberry to other devices (using Blackberry as a Modem)

Airtel Nigeria listened and gave the right answer to questions by allowing subscribers Connect to the internet via the same Blackberry Plan (complete / Social) - if Interested, read about how to Use Airtel Nigeria Blackberry Data Subscription On PC via USB Modem!!!

I'm writing this Post On my Laptop with a USB modem + GLO simcard and 1400 Blackberry Complete plan. When I'm done, I'll insert the sim back into the BB and Pinging continues

Here's how you can use your GLO blackberry subscription on PC.
NOTE: You don't need to own a Blackberry to Use this.

Recharge you GLO SIM card and subscribe to any of the following Glo Blackberry Complete packages.
Text COMONTH to 777 for 1 Month Subscription = N1400
Text COWEEK to 777 for 1 week (7 days) Subscription = N400
Text CODAY to 777 for Daily Plan = N100
This subscription can be done from Any mobile device or Modem
Confirm that Glo has Deducted the Money for Subscription Before Browsing. Dial #124#
Modem settings: - Create a new Modem Profile and Set the Access point to: blackberry.net
Click Connect and when Done.

NOTE: This also works on iOS (iPhone, iPad devices) if General > Network > Cellular Data accesspoint is set to Blackberry.net.
Android users will also have to create a new Mobile Data access point and enter the APN Blackberry.net.

Known Issue:
Don't expect any reply from Glo about success of failure or your subscription, Just make sure the airtime has been deducted before you go surfing.

Now the Ultimate questions: What is the Data allocated for this subscription?
The 1400 Plan I'm using shows 3GB when i text STATUS to 777, the 400 Naira Plan is 700 MB

If you've been enjoying Glo Blackberry Complete Monthly 1400 naira for 3GB, Weekly N400 for 700 MB and Daily Plan for 100 Naira on your PC or smartphone as the instructions above specify, i have even better news.

You can now use Glo Blackberry SOCIAL Plan on PC and Smartphone, same data allowance of Monthly 3GB, Weekly 700MB but less charge.
The Glo Social Plan cost and How to subscribe are listed below:

Social Month N1,200 30 days Text ‘SoMonth’ to 777 3GB
Social Week N400 7 days text ‘SoWeek’ to 777 700 MB

Most nokia phones have the option to add an "Access Point" for PC connection, else you will need to manually configure your dialup connection to use AT+Cont IF= function (Complicated Stuff).

If you're using a Blackberry to connect, Create a Profile in the Blackberry Desktop manager and set the access point to Blackberry.net

Checking the remaining data from PC by Texting STATUS to 777 might show gibberish on some computers.
I check data balance by putting the sim in a Mobile phones.

If you get the message " You subscription is pending Activation" - but your money has been deducted, don't wait for the Confirmation SMS, you can start browsing.

Michael, Please state the device you're using.
USB Modem? Create a new profile from Settings and enter the APN
Phone?

If your subscription data is exhausted, simply recharge the required amount (1200) and send the new activation text (somonth) to 777.
You do not need to disable your subscription before subscribing for a new one.

Thanks for the idea given to us but , i have a small challenge using airtel modem on glo blackberry , it worked but always disconnect itself so what will i do to salvage the situation

Hello Francis,
The disconnection problem you experience might be network related.
I would suggest manually setting your Glo modem dial up connection to AUTO DIAL if line is dropped.
These settings can be found in Control panel >> network connection (network sharing) > adapter settings (Win7)
Right click the Glo dial up connection and click Properties, read through the settings till u find the auto dial option.
When i'm on PC, I'll post a screenshot if you wish

Abeg i deyy use Nokia 500. I
subscribed for Glo BB COWEEK.
Changed my access point to
blackberry.net & since about 3 days
dat i did it.
I still can't browse, please help don't
let mt 700mb go to waste.

I have tried the setting as shown in the screeshot but thre is no CHAP option in my modem...Only IP and PPP...
What do i do because it's still no connecting..
