Michelle Obama celebrates 49th Birthday - Gets new Twitter Account

The wife of the 44th US President - Michelle Obama - is in the news this week as she celebrated her Birthday.
The 49 year old devoted mother of two and public servant was born on January 17, 1964.

As expected, Birthday wishes, words of encouragement and prayers came flooding in from all social media platforms, even Obama Joined and twitted this message;

Michelle Obama already has a functional twitter account (@MichelleObama) since 2011 with over 2 Million followers but on her birthday, another Twitter account was opened by her office called @FLOTUS which is short for First Lady of The United States. The new verified account got over 67,000 followers few hours after it was launched and will run by the Office of First Lady Michelle Obama but Tweets from the First Lady are signed –mo.

The Guys at Marshable explained why the First lady now has two twitter accounts - Tweets from @MichelleObama are considered Personal tweets as a Wife, Mother, trend setter etc - she can freestyle on that.
While tweets from @FLOTUS are considered Political, Official - e.g First lady meeting with Inaugural citizen co-chair David Hall.

Just as we have @Ngbuzz and @Briggz5d, @AleePinky - It's understandable.
