God is Joyfull To See the Lost Return Home
« on: July 26, 2014, 12:20 PM »
One Thing I learnt in yesterday's Night vigil is that God has never been happy over the death of a sinner but his earnest desire is that all should come to repentance and be saved.
It hurts Him to know that the place He prepared for Satan and his host will be shared by the People He called His own
You are the apple of God's eyes a precious jewel, a holy nation which he has called, you cannot be found in the lake of fire
Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?'Ezekiel 33:11 KJV

This opened my eyes to see that God is delightfull when a sinner/Lost returns to God.
The parable of the Lost Ship in Luke 15 : 3-7
Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?  And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’  I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent
If a man will live ninety-nine saved sheep and go out to look for just 0ne lost sheep and when he finds it he comes home rejoicing with his friends, how much more God. will he not rejoice over a lost soul that returns home?

Then it was revealed to me that God will rejoice over that one Lost soul that comes back home. The story of the prodigal son explains how God himself will rejoice when the Lost/Sinners returns Home
Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons.  The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
“Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’  So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
“The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
“But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.  For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

This is how God himself rejoices over the return of the sinner or of the return of one that was his own.
Luke 15:7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

God is calling on you today, tommorrow may be too late.
Now is the right time for you to turn to God and ask for frogiveness just like the prodigal son did and your life will never remain the same

God Bless you even as you Make A decision that will turn your life for the better
