Lagos State Government has planned to embrace a tech culture that put crime perpetrators on TV. This was mentioned on 4th of January 2016 as part of their plans to make sure the state is totally free from crime and insurgence attack like some part of the country that has experienced in recent times.

Although Lagos State isn’t as bad as it used to before but people still see from that other perspective. Someone I interviewed said “he wants to travel to Lagos for an aptitude test but he doesn’t know any of his relation there. I’m scared because Lagos is not where you go and start asking people how to find your way to one location. They will either rob you or use you for native assurance.” So sad people could think such of city. Well, there is a local saying that “who no go no know”. You’re rest assured that Lagos is one of the best state in Nigeria.

Once these CCTV cameras are installed people won’t have such notion anymore.

Mr. Akinyemi Ashade, during discussion concerning the 2016 budget said “the government will also activate the existing 1,000 CCTV cameras already installed in the state. And to manage the current security challenge”.
