After weeks of silence from Nigeria's Government officials about the abduction of over 200 Secondary school students by Boko Haram sect in Borno state, we're finally getting some reaction and excuses about how the matter is being handled.

Maybe it's because of the worldwide #BringBackOurGirls Campaign and protests that has drawn international attention to the issue or the growing International Media coverage and pressure from Humanitarian Organizations.

CNN Reporter Aisha Sesay flew in to Nigeria for a Special Coverage of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign

The First lady - Dame Patience Jonathan was in the news recently and expressed her emotions in a meeting with the Principal and Teachers of the school where the girls were abducted.
For some reason, social media finds her reaction funny - See the video below.

As the search for the missing girls continue, officials are keeping the public in the dark about whats going on because they say releasing it might undermine the ungoing efforts being made by security officials to track down the perpetrators of this act.

We can only join the families to pray and hope for the safe return of the girls to their homes.
