With the increase of technology in this our current world system, the work of the bankers is reducing every day, apart from going to the banking hall and carrying out some other office responsibility, the creation of bank account for customers are now being done by the customers themselves e.g  The Diamondyello account that MTN Nigeria launched in collaboration with  Diamond Bank plc which allows customers of MTN and diamond bank to create a bank account without going to the banking hall, without submitting any form of credential.

Now Etisalat in collaboration with GTbank plc has come up with something similar to Diamondyello account, they’ve come up with a way for etisalat and GTbank customers to also save themselves the stress of going to the banking hall and submitting their credentials and passport for opening a bank account.

HOW TO OPEN GTEasySavers Account
To open a GTEasySavers account simply dial *737*0# (From an Etisalat Line) then send, an account will be opened instantly for you and the account number will be sent to you through your mobile phone via text message.

The GTEasySavers account links to your Etisalat line which has already been registered with Biometrics finger-print and personal information such as name, address, gender etc.
The account number will be ten (10) digits but when you want to do any transfer or deposit or even withdrawal you can put in you phone number in the space for account number.

WHERE CAN I USE MY GTEasySavers ACCOUNT
Your GTEasySavers Account can be used in Nigeria, in three designated places which is
1.   All GTbank branches  in Nigeria
2.   Any GTExpress outlet in Nigeria
3.   Any Etisalat Experience Center's

FEATURES OF GTEasySavers ACCOUNT
When depositing in your account, the lowest amount you can deposit is N1000 while the highest you can deposit is N20, 000. The highest amount of money that can be saved in the account is N200, 000 and there is no need for data or airtime to open the account or even manage the account.

BENEFIT OF GTEasySavers ACCOUNT
You can now open and operate a real account without filling any form or even go to the banking hall; you can also save on a daily, weekly and even monthly basis and get an interest of 3.9% of your savings. After you open the account you don’t only stand a chance but you also enjoy the benefits of having ‘double’  of all your recharges, you see….. life becomes easier. With this account you can deposit and withdraw money from any GTbank branch around you or even a GTExpress outlet that is close to you and in any etisalat experience center close to you.

HOW TO DO A TRANSFER
To transfer money to a GTEasySavers account: dial *737*1*Amount *your account Number# (e.g *737*1*2000*1234567890#) and send through the phone number you use in opening the account, in other to authenticate the transfer use the last four digits of your GTbank MasterCard.

To transfer money to a none GTEasysavers account: dial *737*2*Amount *your account number# # (e.g *737*2*2000*1234567890#) and send through the phone number you use in opening the account, in other to authenticate the transfer use the last four digits of your GTbank MasterCard.

Note: The transfer of money works with the phone numbers that are registered with GTbank  i.e those used to open the account and the transfer is being subjected to network( that is if at the time you want to transfer there is no network then you would not be able to carry out your transfer at that time), The money that is being transferred is directly from your account. The maximum daily amount of money you are allowed to transfer is N20, 000 while minimum you can transfer is N1000.
