Nigeria Immigration Service is an agency which is responsible for the efficient Nigerian border security and citizens migration management. This involves issuing of passports, visas, ECOWAS travel certificate and residence permits.
In this regard, the general public  is hereby informed of the annual Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment which is ongoing for this year 2017.

General Requirements
  • Applicant must be a Nigerian Citizen by birth
  • Applicant must be between ages 18-30
  • Applicant must be medically fit and be ready to present medical fitness certificate from a registered Government Hospital on screening.
  • Applicant must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offense. He/she should also not be a secret cult member.
  • Applicant's height must not be less than 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females
  • Applicant's chest measurement for men should not be less than 0.87m
  • Applicant must also be free from financial embarrassment or poverty.
  • Applicant must have a valid e-mail address and password which will be required upon the form filling
  • A passport photograph

    Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI '')
    1. Applicant must possess a minimum of first degree from a recognized higher institution of  learning.
    2. Must have an NYSC discharged certificate
    3. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-30 years.
    Senior Inspector of Immigration (SII) & Assistant Inspector of Immigration (AII)
    1. Applicants for Senior Inspector of Immigration (SII) must possess a minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized institution of learning.
    2. Applicants for Senior Inspector of Immigration (SII) must be between the ages of 18-30 years.
    3. NYSC discharge certificate is compulsory for senior Inspector of Immigration (SII)
    4. Applicants for Assistant Inspector of Immigration (AII) must possess a minimum of NCE/OND from a recognized institution of learning.
    5. Applicants for Assistant Inspector of Immigration(AII) must be between the ages of 18-26 years.
    Immigration Assistant III (IA ''')
    1. Applicant must be a holder of SSCE,NECO, GCE O/Level with minimum of four(4) credit in not more than 2 sittings, which should include English and Maths.
    2. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-25 years.

2. Enter your email address and password on your choice post application
3. From the link sent to your email for confirmation, log in and continue with application
4. Enter all required fields of the stages and submit
5. After successful submission, print your acknowledgement slip and guarantors form which which will be filled and presented on the screening day.

NOTE: This online application is free and any certificate or qualification not declared or tendered and accepted at recruitment centre shall not be acceptable after the recruitment exercise.
