Hmmm as absurd it might sound; science has really proved that some health benefits are associated to kissing. I know you would be dying to know that. Just relax, sit back and read through. Below are real reasons you should kiss someone if possible right now.

1.  Increases resistance to illness:
It might sound astonishing but exchange of saliva is a great way to fight off viruses — especially if all that kissing leads to s x. Medical research indicates that women increase immunity against the Cytomegalovirus (a virus that causes enlargement of epithelial cells, usually resulting in mild infections but causing more serious disorders in AIDS patients and in newborn babies) by kissing infected partners. Research also shows that people who have s x once or twice a week have higher levels of an infection-fighting antibody called immunoglobulin A. So if you want to make it through winter season unharmed, it's time to pucker up!

2. Decreases ache or pain:
During a fiery, heart-pumping kind of kiss, your body releases adrenaline; this can actually decrease feelings of pain. Match up with the similarly pain-reducing endorphin that is released during physical intimacy and locking lips gives you a double energizer for fighting that nagging headache.

3. A Fun Enhancer:
When we talk of fun, kissing is a boom! According to a woman health advocate, Kissing is such an important and vital way of expressing our inner feelings and the many different ways we can do it reinforces creativity. With so many ways to kiss and express ourselves, fun becomes an important part of the experience and fun is a great instrument for happiness!

4. Induces arousal and improves s x:
Frequent s x can improve your confidence and there's no better introduction for s x than kissing! A renowned, sexologist points out, "Kissing is a potent type of foreplay... it increases the odds that both partners will have a good and pleasurable s  sual experience."

5. Drops strain/stress level:
How often do you feel tired and stressed out at the end of the day? You might take it as Cortisol (body's natural response to stress) responsible. A medical specialist points out that kissing lowers cortisol levels. Cortisol is a steroid hormone produced by the adrenal gland and it has a negative effect on our immune system, endocrine system and brain health, specifically the Hippocampus. Cortisol is important for proper body functioning but needs to be balanced. So if you can lower stress and reduce those negative effects by performing a simple thing like stealing a kiss with your partner, we encourage you to do it as often as you can!

6. Stimulates bonding:
Whether you're caressing a baby or making out with your partner, locking lips boosts closeness and stimulates bonding. A science professor once said: "When we kiss, we generate a pituitary hormone called Oxytocin. This hormone is often called the 'love hormone' because it causes us (particularly females) to bond." The fact is, we kiss the ones we feel affection for and love the ones we kiss!
Psychologically, kissing enables the formation of a close emotional tie between people. This is applied to both men and women.

7. Forges healthier marriages:
This is true and real. Not only that frequent kissers have stronger marriages (This is also great for mental and emotional health) but kissing can actually help you pick the right partner. During kissing, our bodies subconsciously share information about our individual immune systems. The technical term for this mechanism is Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC). Biologically, diverse immune system genes are joined to enhance the survival of their offspring. So, if kissing your crush quenches the flames of love, you might be able to relate it to biological incompatibility.

8. Increases joy and inner happiness:
Kissing releases Endorphins (A natural painkiller often released by the brain after a severe injury thereby abolishing all sensation of pain). Endorphins make one happy. Since depression affects almost everybody depending on their daily engagement, and might really cost a dime to correct, why not boost up your happiness level freely with a little smooching?

Kissing is indeed an act which should be adapted in order to make a relationship work and also wade stress related sickness. Hope you tried one and it worked.
