If you watch Satellite Television in Nigerian (DSTV, MyTV), the show "America's Got Talent" should ring a bell and remind you of awesome, weird, strange, Funny and stupid performances presented by members of the public auditioning or trying to enter for the show.

The show which also has a UK version, was made popular by Simon Cowell for his Harsh manner of judging contestants trying to win the Money.

Good News Talented Nigerians - You don't have to travel to the UK or USA to show the world your talent because a Nigerian Version of the show has been launched with the title:
Nigeria Got Talent or NGT for short and a Prize Money of Ten Million Naira (10,000,000) for the Winner!

I can't confirm that this Nigerian version of the show is affiliated with the original US / UK versions but i do know that The Major sponsor of the show is AIRTEL NIGERIA so i guess that makes it Legitimate!

Who is eligible to Enter
 Anyone who has a talent to display, Singers, Magicians, Comedians, Dancers of All Ages are allowed to try out and WOW the judges and audience who will be voting via SMS for the most talented.

 Audition and Registration for Nigeria Got Talent 2012Auditions will be held at the following cities in Nigeria: Port Harcourt, Enugu, Calabar, Ibadan, Warri, Benin and Lagos.

To attend an audition, simply complete this online form > Nigeria Got Talent Audition Form and listen up for alerts about when the audition train will stop at a city near you.

They danced, Sang, Played musical instruments, Did Magic, performed some weird acts that trilled Judges and millions of viewers who tuned-in every week to watch and vote for their favorite. But one would eventually emerge winner of Nigeria's Got Talent Season 1.
