Airtel Nigeria – 1 of 4 major mobile network service providers in Nigeria has recently introduced UNLIMITED Internet Browsing for its subscribers. This is great news for heavy data users like yourself – If you’re reading this post, chances are you’re a heavy users.
The Airtel Unlimited Internet data gives you access to visit any web pages, download any files (Movies, Games, Software applications), stream music & videos or just updates antivirus programs and Mobile Apps online without worrying about data consumption rates.
There’s a catch – Browsing or Downloads can be done only within the stipulated time frame and in this case, you can only use this service from 12 AM (midnight) to 6AM (Morning). So i guess we can call it Airtel Nigeria Unlimited Night Plan as indicated in the title.

Personally speaking, i think the Night plans used to be cheaper and totally worth the cost considering download peak transfer rates of 600 to 1mbps on the Airtel Network and all you can download or upload with it in one night (Including Torrents), but due to the recent increase in prices of these plans, it’s no longer being used by most people.

This is not the first time a Nigerian Mobile network has launched Unlimited Data service. You may recall that Etisalat had a similar service which offered cheaper charges of 15 Naira for 30 Minutes.
Hopefully this will last longer than Etisalat’s offer which was discontinued without prior notice or reason to subscribers.
