The Access Art X has returned for its 2023/2024 edition, with a significantly expanded scope and remit. The Access Art X prize awards early- career artists from Africa and its diaspora opportunities to develop their practices, with the intention of setting them up for the highest level of success on the global stage.
The prizes have changed significantly by extending its reach beyond Nigerian artists to also include emerging talents from across Africa and its diaspora. The Art X was launched in partnership with Access Bank, a bank that has lasted for over 20 years and has set its sight on and delivered on ambitious plans to transform the African financial service sector.

The application deadline for Access Art X Prize is October 18, 2023.
