How to Export/Download contacts from Android Phone to Editable Mode

Recently, I wanted to send a bulk SMS Invitation to all my contacts and I thought, How do i go about it since using my SIM card, I will be charged N4 per SMS and I have close to 2000 contacts that is amounting to N8000

That’s a huge sum of money and I remembered that there are several Bulk SMS Website that can send it more at a cheaper rate. Then another question arose; How do I upload all these contacts to the site at once since it is stored in my Network sim card and phone. Guess you might have being in such situation. Then, I found a solution, which I am going to share through these post.

HOW TO EXPORT CONTACTS FROM ANDROID PHONE TO AN EDITABLE/UP-LOADABLE MODE
Step 1: On your android phone, sync your contacts to date. Note: The android phone must have a valid gmail account signed in where the contacts are to sync to.

Step 2: On a PC web browser of choice, log in to your gmail account (same Gmail account logged in on Android phone)

Step 3: Click contacts and switch to old interface or old version because New preview cannot export contact.

Step 4: Click on the more option on the page and select export

Step 5: Select the Google CSV format. All contacts will be downloaded and saved to a CSV file

Step 6: Once the contacts have been exported using the Google CSV format ( i.e. for importing into a Google account), the column representing phone numbers can be highlighted and pasted in  a notepad and from there edited, saved and finally uploaded to bulk SMS Site.

Exported contacts, can simplify sending of bulk messages to all contacts on the phone as it might stand as a hurdle.

That’s all. Don’t forget to hit the like button and drop reactions and questions using the comment box below.
